- The Xpedition Mission Statement -

The Xpedition is a global-to-local experiential learning and outreach program that focuses on global climates and changes in those climates due to global warming. Global warming is one of our generation's most formidable issues. Through hands-on study of the various climates and eyewitness accounts of the shrinking glaciers of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the program aims to raise awareness of the causes of and possible solutions to this issue through local outreach to the youth of our community.
